Strange Discover CLI experience

As everyone knows Discover hates me at this moment. I’m also a AU on my wife’s card it has a $2200 dollar limit.

Last night we were feeling adventurous and hit the love button on the app. It ask questions to verify income, employment and rent.

We got the prompt to choose a $500 increase or other. Given my luck with Discover, we chose the $500 dollar option, it then prompted to another screen and showed our new limit as $3500, a $1300 dollar increase? We’ve had the card for about 12 months.

I’ll take it, quick DPs on my wife

Scores average around 650, with a 644 TU

no mortgage or rent

30-60-90-120 day lates and charge off with Comenity Bank- 5 years old

2- 30 day lates with Santander that are about 2 years old

Congrats! Don't know what's strange after a great CLI. Take what you can get from the Queen and run!

Hope it sticks. I had that happen once . Then it disappeared and i got only my $500. Congrats
