Hello all,DD and I have been down the shore getting the
lake house ready for summer. A much needed change of pace
I must say. Glad you can do online classes anywhere ;-)
Only credit news I can share is an approval for another card from Sun East FCU
I posted about them on 12-17-19 under More Local CU Love..or
something close to that. That one was an instant approval. Well
I asked for another card. This one was not. I got to speak to a lovely rep
named Bridgette...killer name right? Anyway Bridgette was a bit more formal
in asking about my finances then most CU's. She really was not concerned so
much about income and such, but asked why I would need ANOTHER credit card.
Kinda hard to answer that without sounding like
a credit seeking thrill junkie. I just said that I like to have relationships
with most FI's local to me and to take advantage of their products.
Well she laughed a little at me being so obtuse, but appreciated
that I do indeed have savings and checking accounts with most banks
locally. She said 10K, I said I would have taken 5K.
The CC itself is just a vanilla offering.

Thank you for the congrats @gdale6 :-)
I usually just let the stated income speak for itself,
but for data points sake let me explain.
I changed jobs 7 years ago to raise my daughter full time.
Mother moved to Europe. I took a significant cut in pay,
but that was not important to me. DD was :-)
Long story shorter I have other incomes...Child Support at $5,000.00
a month. Houses are paid for...I am 54 so have had plenty of time
to make money. Now is the time to relax a bit :-)
Cheers
Another big congrats UH HuH.
Being able to hang out with your DD makes you a true Rockstar!!!
I have a blast chasing mine around..
No amount of money can replace that precious time.🤗
Nice hit on the local CU!! Enjoy that lake house this summer!!
