Just checked my Chase accounts and was given an unsolicited CLI on my Chase Freedom card from $7000 to $8500!
Data points:
*I have had the card for a little over 3 years.
*I have four credit cards with Chase, and this is the first one I have ever received a CLI on.
*Usage has been almost entirely 5% category spending, however, last month my mom (who is an AU on the account and has her own card) used the Freedom to purchase about $5000 in stuff for furnishing the house I just bought, which I then paid off. I suspect this is the reason for the CLI. (I was a little irked at the time that she didn't ask to borrow my Double Cash for this purpose, but I guess it wasn't such a bad result in the end!)
