Synchrony- CLI!

Hi all! So I have had Gap ($200 Credit Limit) and Amazon ($800 Credit Limit) cards with them for a year now, and I have NEVER received a cli when I push the button. Well after reading on here to try the chat button I decided to make the leap.

Gap: $200 to $3500!! 

Amazon: $800 to $3500!! 

I am floored! You guys rock with the amount of knowledge.  I tried the same for my Walmart card but that was declined (it has only been open a month, but I was feeling froggy, so I jumped)

Do you happen to know if it resulted in a hard or soft pull? I am dying to raise my CL on my Synchrony Amazon card from $800 to $3500, but I don't want to ding my credit to do so.

It’s soft pulls. I was the same and thought it was a hard pull but they do a soft pull on your transunion report. I was also at $800 and now I am at $6,000 within months.

That's good news! What exactly do I say when I call? I'm nervous. This feels like a first date...

LOL...that’s a good one. First date statement....

I was also nervous just told them I need a CLI for the holidays coming up and that was it. You have to state your income and then she will put you on hold for 1 or 2minute and come back with a response. I have to say if your transunion Fico 08 is 650 and higher pretty much you will get a good bump. Good luck. Let us know how it went.

So two days ago I️ went in to ask for another cli for my Amazon and it is now $6,000. I️ think you are golden to get an increase.

My FICO score is 640. The reason I'm asking for the increase is to increase my score. I have never come close to hitting my $800 limit. I've had the card for 8 months and almost always pay in full. Never a late payment. Pray for me!

YES! Congratulations! Enjoy your new CLI. Don't spend it all in one place. Those cards are some of my faves! You can never go wrong @ Gap and Amazon!
