Sync CLIs seem to be SP. New account is obviously a HP. 

You can always freeze your TU before requesting if you don’t want a HP.

I just tried on about 1/2 my Synchrony cards to CLI with the love button. But no love. Even went back and tried in smaller increments. No Love. Called in and got CLI on all 3 cards I asked about - Went from $7500 across 3 cards to $16400 across the same (QVC, TJMaxx and Carecredit). Win. I'm going to call back in and hope for love on 2-3 more and then call it a day.

I know this is old but i just got my account 2 days ago with Synchrony was approved for 1k Today i registered for the online App And cut straight to the chase after reading this and it work lol Asked for a 6k was approved then asked for a 8k was denied with a 7-10 letter no counter offer ! But brought my UTI down for sure! I was okay with the 1k but 6k definitely my highest CL considering I'm new to credit with only 1 year of having a credit card with no baddys! Very pleased.

I initially got approved for $3000--that's after having an old one with $500 that got CLOSED for inactivty.

Almost immediately after this one was approved, I asked for $10,000. They counted with $7,000 and I accepted.

Every single CLI I have requested has been denied though since then. I tried following this advice, I asked for $7500 to see if they would maybe give me $8000, but no.

My scores are about 660, both TU and Equifax.

BK7 as of fall of 2016.

TONS of inquiries and new accounts though.

Saw this thread pop up from the darkness and realized it's been almost 2 years that my Amazon Store Card has been sitting at 3.5k. After just getting a decent SP cli from Citi a week or so ago, I figured why not. Went in and shot for the (I think) max online SP of 10k and got it! My scores in my signature are accurate as of today.

Nice! Mine's been sitting at $200 for almost 2 years as well.

I asked for the maximum amount of $10,000 and they gave me $1,000
