Synchrony CLIs + 1 approval

Been working diligently at paying stuff down and thought I would try requesting CLIs via chat on some cards to further get util down:

Old Navy $500 ---> $3500
Amazon Store Card $1600 ---> $3500
Walmart $1400 ---> $3500

I had asked for $5k on all of these. I see a trend with SYNC, esp. because I applied for Care Credit (found out my dog needs kidney stones removed). Got approved for $3500. Lol!!!!

Do I have to use the cards for the new limits to report? Paid them off a couple months ago. Thanks.

Congrats! Synchrony definitely likes that $3,500 limit

In my experience, they will report the new CL even without usage. Comenity requires usage if it has a $0 balance.

You can 'force' an update on the Walmart and Amazon cards. Go into your profile and make a minor change to the information. Add a second phone number, change Rd to road, something like that. It'll update in a day or so. Then you can change everything back of you want to.

inspired by this post I requested CLI's on my 2 Sync accounts

WalMart - went online, got increase from 1,200 to 5,000 (asked for 6K) ; have had card almost 3 months - $0 bal

Amazon - did online chat, got increase from 4,000 to 6,000 (asked for 7K); have had card about 6 months - $0 bal, but I run 000's through card

TU is 685

Congrats! Be careful with synch they are known to shut down cards when you recieve their magic blue envelope. I submitted all the documents they wanted and they said I was good 2 months later they shut them all down. No one at sychonry can tell me why. Just FYI

@Fmurad I haven't read about that. Did you have a lot of accounts with them? I have had the 3 accounts since 2015 and just opened the care credit. Don't plan on opening any more store cards.
