Synchrony Home CLI!

I FINALLY got approved for a CLI on my Synchrony Home credit card. The account had been stuck at $2,500 for about two years, and Synchrony kept denying my for high utilization. Well, I finally got my utilization under control last month (12% reporting), and they finally approved a CLI to $5k! I have used this card several times and carried a balance occasionally (at 0%) during the past two years, so usage and paying it were not really a problem. I am keeping this card open because it is nearly 5 years old, it is padding my utilization, and has the potential to be useful for future CLIs. It started as a Matress Firm card, but they converted it to the Home card a while ago. That being said, I wish I could use it at more places. I have been using it for electronics purchases at ABT.com, but I rent, so I don't make a lot of home improvement purchases.

That particular card is very fast growing,

dependent on where you stand with your Sych exposure,

and,as you said, usage. I had the older Synch

Home Card for a year..

never used it,got it up to 25K? and then they closed it.

Learned about it on Credit Karma or some

such site. They offered it again,

newly branded,

and I said ok.10K SL. Never used it and there it sits.

If it is important to you,you are right,use it once in awhile
