Thanks @KingPredator & @pinkandgrey!

@Mahraja would probably walk away with a $50,000 SL with Synovus and put us all to shame Smiley Very Happy

Re: Synovus Cash Rewards $20,000!!!

Congrats on the approval! Any idea what the minimum score is to qualify? I have the established income (six figures) but I'm still rebuilding:

  • 3/11/19 - EQ: 656 (up 32 pts. from 624)
  • 3/14/19 - EX: 643 (up  64 pts. from 579)
  • 3/10/19 - TU: 660 (up 72 pts. from 588)

Hello. I'm curious to know how you got the red/blue bar at the bottom of your signature?

I think it is around 680 EQ, but personally I would wait till around 700ish.. Income only play a small factor on approval SL and APR people with lower incomes can have decent to big CL's if their scores and profile are well seasoned and their DTI is low.  So if you are within their area of operation then get your scores up another 40 points approx then go for it.  40 points can be obtained quicker than you might imagine and the time will come quickly if done right.

Re: Synovus Cash Rewards $20,000!!!

Thanks for the encouragement and advice! My DTI is high 43% but I just started "renting" this past year so I can "sell" my home and unload $213K in debt which will bring my DTI down to 22%. I've been surprised at how much my score has jumped in just 1 month...highest jump was 72 points with TransUnion to 660 (from 588). I will have to continue waiting it out! I actually have little to no credit card debt but I have large student loan debt ($201K) and mortgage debt ($212K)! And most recently I added 1 car note $25K.

I am reestablishing credit so far with FingerHut ($300 limit), Secured BoA card ($500 limit) and I signed up for a certificate of deposit with Self Lender for $1K.

Re: Synovus Cash Rewards $20,000!!!

How do you add all those fancy trackers at the bottom of your post? I've been trying to understand how "rank" works around here since I'm a newbie Smiley Happy I'm very much motivated by numbers so I'd like to add one to my profile sooner than later. Any advice?
