We closed on our mortgage recently. I had been gardening until that was complete. We got the keys and celebrated. The next day I took the advice of the boards and applied in exactly the order above saving Capital One for the end. I stopped at three as there is no reason to test the decline gods.
Cap One pulled a TU at 731
Highest CL prior was $21K
Util was just under 9%
I prequalified for all three. No cold apps
I must give a huge thank you to this board. I have rebuilt my credit from a CHP13 in 2010. Started rebulding in 2015 and with patience and some shared wisdom I have been able to increase my scores, buy a car at a great rate, and land my home. I would never have had the knowledge or data points to make that happen without you guys 
I will be back in the garden for two years and then its time to see if Chase will let me back in their good graces.
