TRUIST APPROVALS WITHOUT EVEN A SOFT PULL ON EQUIFAX,WHAT ?

So I'm the one that will start this off,

Truist gave me three card approvals in row within a week, and two within 20-minutes without even a [soft pull on Equifax] on there"you might be qualified for some specials offers page." I had all bureaus frozen except for "Equifax."

I called Equifax AM, and the rep confirmed no soft pulls, no hard pulls, no nothing anywhere.WOOOOOOW

THEIR PROBABLY USING THE SAME TECH AS BB&T ONCE USED IN THE DAY, AS THEY WERE ONLY SOFT PULLS, BUT ADDITIONAL CARDS WITHOUT ANY PULLS.THEIR SYSTEM IS WACK;}

IF THE WEBSITE SAYS "NO OFFERS' JUST KEEP ON GOING BACK TO THE SITE UNTIL IT LETS YOU THROUGH I KEPT ON DOING THAT.ALSO IF YOU HAVE A CARD PRIOR WITH THEM, APPLY AS "I'M NOT A CLIENT", REALLY IMPORTANT, OR THE SITE GETS WIERD.AND DON'T RE-APPLY THROUGH YOUR ACCOUNT, IT MAY GO TO A MANUAL REVIEW.LET THE [BOT] GIVE IT TO YOU !!!

HAS ANYONE RAN INTO THIS AT ALL ??

It appears that this bank [Truist] maybe geo sensitive, not 100% sure but here is the list of states they due business in:North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Indiana, Texas, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C.

DATA POINTS:

1.I got my first prequal[SOFT INQUIRY/EQUIFAX] offer in October from BB&T last year 2021.....$9000 "The Travel Card"

2.I got the second card [NO SOFT/OR HARD INQUIRY] offer from Truist,December 30th,2021...$6500 "The Future Card"

3.I got the third card [NO SOFT/OR HARD INQUIRY] offer from Truist,Jan 6th,2022.....................$9000"The Cash Rewards Card" 

4.I got the fourth card [NO SOFT/OR HARD INQUIRY] offer from Truist,Jan 6th,2022...................$9000"The Travel Card"

1.Had an intital card through BB&T from Oct,2021

2.Had SI, over $150,000 and other income $40,000

3.Never used the initial card, ever

4.Never opened a checking or any other product

5.Original Equifax Fico was about or near 790/FICO 8,crap load of inquires and new accounts

6."TOLD THE OFFER PAGE I WAS NOT A CLIENT YET" ,LOL-X2

Is this "on the level?"  I've never heard of Truist.

Truist Financial Corporation is an American bank holding company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company was formed in December 2019 as the result of the merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks. 

This is what Wiki says, I know BB&T is no longer so its a merger, and now the new name is Truist.

They are. BB&T and Suntrust merged to create Truist
