Target and Walmart Rewards Cards Back to Back approval 602 and below score

Hello, I am excited, started working on my credit in August in just 3 and half short month ive gone from 500 to a 600 credit score.

My utilization upon applying was 61%

First Applied Target RedCard, instant approval for $200 CL, Target does not appear to have done a hard inquiry

immedietly after i applied for

Warlmarts Rewards Mastercard Denied but approved for Walmarts Rewards Card $300 Limit, Hard Inquiry was immedietly reported.

I now have

Fingerhut: $400 CL

Cap One Secured Platinum: $200 CL

Credit One Platinum: $300 CL

Self: $526 Installment Loan

Target RedCard: $200 CL

Walmart Rewards Card: $300 CL

and my score is still between 595 and 602 between all 3 scores.

I is happy. Target seems like an easy card to apply for and is proccessed by TD Bank

Congratulations!!!

The Walmart and Target cards offer good rewards and not only help you build credit, but help you save money too! My Walmart card (approved a little less than a year ago, with Synchrony) was a $200 limit, but I was over the moon about it! It's a great card to get when your scores are in the lower 600s. It just gets better and better from here!

Congratulations on your Cards!!!      Keep an eye on your report for the next few months your Target inquiry may or may not pop up (sometimes it doesn't show up instantly) but it's cool to see they still say OK with your UT around 60%
