Congrats on the approvals and CLIs!
Thanks everyone. I haven’t done anything special. It’s just been gardening and paying down balances for 19 months after we closed on our house in July 2017. The big thanks goes to this forum for helping me get my credit in order. I’ve learned so much from this board.
I unfroze my credit reports this week in anticipation for applying for a few cards. Before they are refroze I decided to attempt a CLI on both of my USAA cards. In the past I didn’t want to try for CLIs with USAA or my Citibank cards because I didn’t want to incur hard pulls for them.
In light of the fact that my reports are unfrozen, all of my other inquiries other than the ones I picked up this week fall off in June, and I incurred some this week I decided to go for CLI’s on both USAAs. I didn’t think you could get two CLIs on different cards at the same time. Both requests were auto-approved. One limit went from 6000 to 13000 and the other from 8000 to 16000.
I’m done applying for CLI’s that require a hard pull or new accounts for a few years. I have the cards I want so I’ll work on my utilization.
Wow, sou ds like you did a hell of a binge! Just 1 question, after the chase approval, how long before your requested the cli on the others, within minutes or a few days?
Excellent! Congrats!!

He was just implying that those huge CLI are like Lowe's. All SP. Experienced it myself so I know what he's talking about
