Hope everyone is well! Let's go back to June quick. I was able to get my Go Rewards from 7400 to 7900 and Platinum from 9000 to 10500. Applied for Flagship...no go. 2 weeks ago I put 50K into my savings. Last week got CLI on Go Rewards from 7900 to 10400 and Platinum 10500 to 14000. Paid off my Go Rewards balance and currently have 2400 on Platinum. Paid off a few other accounts and got my UTI from 30% down to 15%. Had an itch today and couldnt resist......Cash Rewards 22600@12.99. They pulled TU, not sure where it is as I have another week til Discover posts it, 11-6 it was 693 with 30% UTI and I also had a card reporting 80% which is now 65%. Pretty sure the 50K helped this along and paying off my Go rewards balance of 5100. 4th new card this year and off to the garden I go. Navy is the Best!!! And I owe it to each and everyone here for all the valuable info everyone posts. Thanks all!
Grats on the new Navy card
Congratulations!
BOOM, Congrats!
Remember NFCU has an 80k aggregate unsecured hard ceiling.
Congratulations on your NFCU success!
Congrats to you!
I have kept a very small amount of money in my Navy Federal checking and savings since I got my credit card 18 months ago. I was denied for a credit increase last month. Perhaps I should deposit some more money.
Congratulations on the approval

Nice job. Must feel great!. I just want to add i dont believe having 50k in your savings helped anything as banking and credit are two separate entities. And for the love of fico, if you have 50k in savings ( i could only dream of having that ) why do you have cc's with any balances? Your profile would be much stronger without that debt and having cards with high utilization only hinders you.
Ok sorry, back to your great approval. Enjoy your trifecta!
