Since acquiring the USAA Limitless 2.5% cash back card, it has been the go to for none category spending.
Well today it finally met it's match and then some.
I'd like to thank the myfico member@fiddycal who brought it to my attention, right in my back yard.
Well not exactly, unless my yard is 200 miles long 😂
Didn't think I'd ever see a (Every purchase) 3% cash back card with no strings attached.
Being that it's from such a small CU I had my doubts.
@AverageJoesCredit CU Langley told me to kick rocks in January. 😂
Said I had escalating debt. I think Joe told them I was a Penfed member.😉
Well after licking my wounds as I've done many times on this credit journey.
I figured one more HP on EQ wasn't going to set the world on 🔥.
Being small, and the issues I had submitting the app gave me a real pause.
I submitted 5 apps before one showed up as processing.
Called to make sure the others were cancelled.
Nice CSR told me, we sent all of them to the UW with a laugh!😂
She then referred me to the UW who wasn't in but called me after her lunch break.
The UW turned out to be a very pleasant lady who walked me through the membership process without a complaint.
I have to say this has been the most pleasant experience I've had with any of the FIs I'm a member of! Customer service was top notch!!
AOD FCU has that home town personal touch that is sorely missing in the banking industry.
They pull EQ for credit apps. Those pulls are good for 30 days.
I'm not certain of the EQ scoring model used. It must be a mortgage score?
As my EQ FICO 8 was a 801. And they have my score as a 744.
2 scoreable inqs on EQ with 8 total reporting.
More new accounts than I can mention. Lol
I haven't been this excited about a CC in a long time!
Apr is 7.49% for purchases, BTs and cash advances
Cash advance fee is 1% with a max of $25.
SL is $20,000
Congrats little brother @Gmood1 ... awesome Approval ... do you want me to set you a target ....
20k is a nice SL, G -- Congrats!
Congrats on the approval! That's a great APR - my primary FI (also a credit union) only goes as low as 9.9% for purchase APR.
Congratulations!!! That's fantastic,
