I had applied for this card twice (June and August of 2017), instant denial both times. Yesterday, I was shopping in Marshalls and bought enough stuff that I thought having the additional 10% discount would be worth pulling the trigger again (I work for the TJX companies, and already get a discount, so this would be in addition). Since my initial attempts, my scores have increased, and I have been approved for several other cards, so I said "what the heck", give it a shot and not going to worry about the HP. I thought for sure if I was approved, it would have been for the store card and not the cobranded MC and figured if approved it would be a sl of no more than $300 (because Synchrony hasn't been my friend)!
Well, my jaw almost hit the counter when she said, congratulations, you are approved for a TJX Rewards Platinum Master Card with a "temporary" sl of $1,400! I saved $45 on my purchase and a new line of credit! It's my understanding that they most of the time give you an instant temp sl and when you receive the card it's typically higher. We will see, but just happy to finally have this particular card.
HP came instantly, and was pleased that they pulled EX my highest score at 660. In the past they have pulled TU.
