After being declined twice (once in May 2017, then again in Sept 2017) I just about gave up on this card. My scores have improved since then especially Equifax , now at 688. I decided to take another shot since I know that they pull Equifax and the issuer is Comenity Bank.

Approved for $7000 24% APR no annual fee. Also they gave me a temporary acct.# that I can use now for 16 days or until my card arrives.

Well today I tried pay for some things at the grocery store that came up to about $40 and my card was declined, good thing I actually I cash on me. I called the CSR and was told that my card was closed....the reason was "too many inquiries". That's it. Nothing else. I was told a letter went out on the 9th informing me this. No phone call. No email. The automated system still has my acct. open, as well as the website. The CSR said that doesn't matter, the acct. is closed and cannot be reopened. Thanks Comenity.

Now I did go on a mini app spree,

All in the same week. I was warned that's for sure, Thanks again Comenity, you're the worst.

Now that you ventured into Comenity Visa territory, be wary of apping other Comenity store cards or alot of cards near this approval. Not saying anything will happen, but Comenity can be more skittish than most. Enjoy hopefully along time
