Headingn to vegas in a couple weeks and was looking to book an extra room. Signed into my total rewards account to book it, and a preapproval pop up came up. Free platinum status and buffet pass. Declined what the heck might as well. Only asked for the last 4 of my social. Instant approval $2500 😡😡😡😡 kinda mad at the credit line as I dont have anything near that low.

Im reading that most increases are hard pull. Anyone have experience on soft pull?
