I'm very happy I just got approved for the Discover IT and Uber VISA card.

Discover pulled EXP - 655

Uber Visa pulled TU - 653

3 Accounts ever late

Utilization 1%

Total spending limit - $800 (Secured Capital One Plat)

1 Capital One Auto-loan

3 Inq Exp / 2 TU

AAoA = 5y, 11m

Oldest - 12y, 4m

Time since negative - 8 months

What's next? 

My Equifax score is low due to some items not falliing off via disputes and age so I won't pull anyone who uses EQ. It would be beneficial for me to refinance my Capital One Auto loan as I obtained it when I was in the high 500s and the interest rate is terrible. I owe less than the NADA value as I paid down on the prinicpal. I want to apply RBFCU and utilize that TU pull to apply for both a credit card and re-fi my autoloan at the same time.

At what credit rating do you recommend I should apply the RBFCU account? Would 675-680 be enough? I live in Texas and if income verification is important, I earn 6 figures. Unless I can pre-qual for a good CC, I won't open any others for now. I would like to get in the Chase Rewards family eventually too. CSP would be nice down the line.
