U.S. Bank Platinum Visa Approval (but low SL)

Hi All,

I have about $7800 on a couple balance transfer cards, that I would like to transfer to some other BT cards. I really like(d) USB's long 20-month BT period. Ultimately, I was approved but only got a measly SL of $1100. I don't know, perhaps I will try RECON - Today is Sunday though, so I may have to wait until tomorrow to do that.

FICO is around 750 right now, 3/24 including this recent USB app (my other two were CC's I got approved for 14 months ago), 18% UTIL.

Yeah I'm curious what they'll likely ask me, when I call in for the RECON, and what the best way to get it would be. I'll do a bit of reading up on here. Will it help me with the recon if I'm able to show them the financials in my Schwab brokerage account? I've done very well in the market lately, and have a nice amount in cash / stocks.

They really won't request for the extra documentation, unless you really have high unsecured exposure with USB and UW requests for it.

Just be aware that they can HP again for reconsideration, which has been reported in many instances.  As long as you don't mind the HP, contact them and see if that yields anything favorable.
