Congrats on double dip m8
Congrats .That's the best double dippp I've seen this far.
PS. I see a typo in your Sig (I think unless you got a CLD).
Amex BCE SL 5000 now 1000.
Also I dont think you have to keep posting SL 500 now 500, 800 now 800, 10000 now 10000. If nothings changed theres really no need for it. Or if that's how you like to do it you may be able to minimize by putting it like this:
SL:800 CL:5000. Or SL:800 CL:800. Starting limit vs. Current limit. Idk thats just me though .I am a little weird and OCD about certain things so it just bugging me to see it being so repetitive. If that's how you like it then so be it though. Its not against the rules just thought I'd try and help you minimize a little and make it a little quicker to read and more legible/ not as confusing. Took me a minute to understand what you were trying to say down there lol .
edit: I did just finish the post and see that they DID give you a CLD. I'm sorry they felt that way about you lol.
Congrats on the increases!
Ah, the games we have to play with Disco... just to get a halfway decent limit!
Your majesty,
I know about double dipping, but I have not witnessed this kind of benevolence in 6 months.
Could you tell us mere mortals how you used your discover card to get this kind of dd
I got mine 6 months ago at 1k though now at 3.5k.
Please tell us

Got my Discover it Card in August, $1000 SL. 3 months in, luv button gets me $500 increase. Did it again and got another $500 and today I was planning on hitting the button to get another $500 for a CL of $2500. I look and see ‘$2500’ and shrug and am about to accept it when I realize it says an INCREASE of $2500, bringing my total limit to $4500. Heck yes!
Going to call and try for the double dip in a few when I get out of bed lol
UPDATE: Called and mentioned I was hoping for a larger increase (lol) and asked if there was any more they could offer and got another $2000, making today’s increase $4500 for a total CL of $6500. Not bad for a card that opened at $1000 6 months ago! If only my Amex cards would grow lol
I think a huge factor for Discover would be the Annual Income. The Score is just a miniscule part of their criteria. I say this because, I have some friends who are also getting a lot of luv from Discover almost every month or every other month, between 500 - 1500 increases, and their Income is between 75 - 100K, whereas I am in the near 50K margin, so I guess eventhough my scores are higher than them and hardly apply for any new credit, they still get the most favorable responses for CLI requests. Just my observation.
Very nice increase. Way to go....

Edmond, I used it hardly at all and only on the 5% category. I then PIF before the statement drops so it always reports 0.
Discover pulls TU for CLIs and mine just crossed the 740 mark. Probably helped me out.
My income is pretty average, in the middle of 50k-75k but one thing is Discover asks for your monthly housing/rent/mortgage cost and mine is $0. I’d like to think my DTI is pretty good, with my $239/mo car payment, almost of all of my cards with no balance, and my Alliant SSL sitting at 92% paid lol
Some say carrying a balance facilitates CLIs, other say PIF just like you. I guess it is YMMV.
All the same congrats on the CLI
