Applied for the USB Cash+ Visa Signature last night and got the 7-10 message.

Called this morning and found out that my application was declined due to a BK7 reporting. I called and talked with a usbank Credit Rep and said I needed to wait until 5 years from filing. I told her I filed on 10/10/13 and it is now 10/25/18 which is over the 5 year date. She then told me that I need to wait until November 1, 2018 and then it will be no problem. She looked at my credit report and said I should have no issues getting the card on November 1st. I have had a checking and savings account with them since March 2018.

Just wanted to pass this info along so it may help someone else in a similar situation. I wish I would have know this earlier to avoid the extra inquiry but now I know!!

Good News!!!! I logged into my US Bank Checking Account this morning and was approved for the Cash+ Visa Signature with a starting credit limit of $8,000.00.

Was also preapproved through mailers for the Travel Perks Visa Signature and the Visa Platinum. I think I will hold off for now and apply after a few months of using the Cash+.

Congratulations on the approval! Did you reapply or was this from the initial application last month?

Thanks, I had to reapply and they used the application that was just submitted rather than the 1st one.

I took about 2 days to get the approval.
