I have 3 US Bank cards now with low limits(cash+ @5k, Kroger @1.5k and Platinum @1.5k). I've tried in the past to increase the limits but always have been a no go due to available credit, new accounts, inq's. Last week on the 18th I checked for prequalified offers and this card came up. It didn't have a set APR but I thought why not, what do I have to lose. HIt the submit button and immediate pending message. It's been pending verification ever since. Called today and verified email address and employment info. The representative said "I'll forward this over to UW for final decision on your prequalified offer". This is new for me to have gotten to this step. Was told that I would receive a decision by mail in 5-7 days. Now I realize UW can deny the application and if I was UW, I would probably deny it based on my own profile. ******** Please keep in mind that this is my personal choice to apply and that while this may not make sense to everyone or be for everyone, it is after all a personal choice ********
