US Bank - Kroger Card - myFICO® Forums

Interesting development regarding this card. I applied for this card about 2 weeks ago. Got the instant denial. Yesterday I got the required written reason as to why. I check the mail today and the US Bank Kroger card is there with a 1k sl. Has anyone else ever seen that? It's a first for me.

The OP didn't recon! The card showed up following an initial decline. This happened to me once before, I believe it was a Barclay's product.

Tducks ... you may have received the denial by the computer system. Then, US Bank usually manually reviews apps. May of happened to you and the manual overrode the computer and got you approved. One thing by getting your foot in the door you will build your "customer relationship score" with them. That helps iron out the wrinkles for the future. CONGRATS!
