USAA American Express Rewards approval

Approved for AMEX through USAA @ $500. Been rebuilding since 2/2017. Current with Cap1 Secured @ $200 and Discover Secured at $200.

No FICO8, yet but CK (useless, yes I know) numbers are at TU:603 and EQ:682 with 2 baddies on TU.

Thinking about using the SSL trick in July. Thoughts?

Re: USAA American Express Rewards approval

SSL may help if you don't have any other installment loan. If you have a student or auto loan it won't make much, if any, difference.
Congrats on your approval!! Good to get an unsecured to go with your secureds

Re: USAA American Express Rewards approval

I have the USAA AMEX cashback rewards card, the wife uses it for all gas and groceries. We average $50-60 cashback a month, it all goes onto our emergency fund.

I can't wait for the Limitless to be available in my state (AK) !

Re: USAA American Express Rewards approval

Congrats on getting in with USAA! And, I have the USAA AMEX with 2% Gas & 2% Groceries which has worked well for me. Finally got my state in the mix and I went on to obtain the USAA Limitless Cash. Been a USAA member for many years and have appreciated their service over the years.
