Great to hear! Congrats! Just got my own approval but only for $1K on the Cash Rewards Plus and the Preferred Cash Rewards, and also $1.5K on the Classic Platinum.

I'm late to this thread, but here's your answer: you can do a cash advance straight to your USAA checking account for no fee. You will start paying interest right away, but the APR is the same as for your regular purchases and of course no fee for doing the cash advance. Pretty awesome option if you need it.

I did the same.  Had two recent approvals from PenFed, so I said, "Why not?".  Got an instant USAA approval for 12.5K!  My biggest SL so far!
