US Bank is one that will increase your available credit if you overpay your account.
To finish this one off, no go on the recon. I got the runaround on both underwriting and customer service on using the existing approval to revisit the starting limit, and was told I would have to put in a CLI request (they had pulled Equifax FICO 9, which is a first for me. Score was 730). I'm totally fine with another hard pull, but still got a 7-10 day message, so I'm guessing it's a no go. So, it's a $1,000 limit and therefore no hope of replacing the available credit I'll be losing with Marvel on this one. I'm more bitter about that than anything else. Will try for soft pull CLIs on other cards to make up some of the difference.
