Uber Approval 5K SL to 7.5K @ activation

I am setting myself up to combine some of my limits and shut down some cards. I have a Upromise from Barclays, and wanted to get the Uber card with a decent limit to combine the two.

Oct. 1st; I was approved for the Uber card with a starting limit of 5K, I received the card today. I called the credit analyt to see if I could get more, verifying that it was not a hard pull. I spoke to a very nice woman, who asked me why and how much I wanted, I said 10K, she put me on a brief hold, came back with questions, and stated she could meet me half way. I was given a 2.5K increase bringing my total limit to 7.5K.

They pulled Transunion and my score reflected is 746. I still have a bk7 showing from 12/2010.

Curious if you got the siggy or not.

I was lucky enough to get one, but boy, no one knew anything about it or how to get it when I called for a analyst.

I did  receive the Visa Signature card.  I believe because I was originally approved for 5K, and then it was upped to 7.5K.
