I posted in here a few months ago about being annoyed that Barclays was denying me a CLI on my (then) $2k Uber Visa card. Against my instinct, I requested again last week and was instantly approved for $4k! Not a huge increase but definitely an improvement. This morning, I got an email that American Express had, based on my "excellent history" with them, raised the limit on my Gold Delta card to $28,500! (From $24k). I started with $8k back in September and got the full 3x CLI after 61 days. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I love American Express!

Nice job on the CLI's! Usually you can only get those SP CLI's from Barclays if it's an auto-CLI or one of their branded cards, but I called them up about a month ago asking for any special bonuses and they gave me a $2k SP CLI to my surprise. You might be able to give them a call (get a relationship specialist is what I think they call them) and you might squeeze a little more out of them.
