Uber Visa Barclay Recon Success

Hello guys. I just got the denial letter from Barclays today and it stated "Insufficient Credit History" as the only reason for denial. My TU FICO score was 730. I decided to call in to see if i could get it reconned and a specialist picked up and asked me about my income and employment history. At first she said another reason that i was denied was that Barclays likes to see about 3 years of employment history before they give approvals but after a couple minutes on hold while she reviewed my app, she came back with a approval of a $1k starting line. She said they liked my current payment history on my cards and that ill get my card in 7-10 business days. Was thinking of trying to push for a higher SL but i decided against it since it was a low SL and being denied in the first place. Got my datapoints in my signature

Good recon. Use the card and pay it promptly, in 6 months call and see if you can get a SP CLI

Congrats! I got my Uber card in March of last year, had to recon as well for approval. Mine started at $500 and has grown to $3000.

Congrats on the approval.   I just got the Uber Visa recently myself.   I have to say they post your rewards right away and you can use them right away.   I hit my spend for the SUB and that was included with the transaction that put me over the top.

Congrats! That Uber card is great, I hope to get it someday. The 4% on dining is hard to beat.
