If you have read any of my posts in the last 6 days you know I have app’d for several Visa’s and MasterCards. Well, apparently I app’d a Chevron / Texaco Visa and more than once. I swear I got a denial message and I certainly don’t remember apping more than once. I mean, I really and truly think I did get denied. Turns out I have the card on the way. Synch just called to verify me and said congrats, you’re approved but I had to deny the other application since it was a duplicate application.
So at this point I think it’s time to recognize I have a real problem with apping. I mean like a full blown medical issue. Oooh! I guess I should app the Care Credit and seek medical help… Or maybe just stop apping and get in the garden. Scary part is, I also app'd the Ebates card and atleast one other that I can't remember what it was and got what I think was denials there too. I think this might be worse that drapping. 
SL is $1200 but I will CLI that when I get home. They typically bump me to 6-8k when I do. My TU is around 700. Well, it was 700 when I app'd all these cards and I get alerts that it has gone up but it won't refresh for another 8 days so I can't see what it is now. I have app'd and gotten the following in the last 5 days:
Marvel 6k
Stash 8k
Wal-Mart MC 6k
Cabellas 1.5k
Apple Rewards 2k
Chevron/Texaco Visa 1.2K
I am really going to stop now. This Chevron thing kinda spooked me. I just wanted to add a few majors to my mix but now I have a bunch of them. Time to reel in my app spree. I have 2 apps in with Chase I never heard back from. Its been a few weeks. After this thing with Chevron, I called their status # and they are still in review. Now, I really want those 2 but if I had known they took that long and that I might still be approved (co-branded sonot part of the 5/24) I would not have app'd all these other cards. My AAoA has more hits than Beyonce and it looks like I might have app'd myself into the garden for a really long time.

Thanks. I called CS and asked for the CLI. They approved it to 4k. That brings my total credit limit to $78k.
