Lately I've been seeing "you're already approved" offers in my Chase Credit Journey for the United and Southwest cards. United is one of my preferred airlines, but I was worried since I'm at 5/24 until August 2022.
After seeing mixed datapoints about these types of offers, I figured a hard pull isn't the end of the world given that I've been gardening for 12 months.
Instant Approval for 8.5k, pulled Experian only - 708 fico 8, 5/24, 3 inquires in last 24 months but 0 in the last 12 months. 23.49% APR however I always pay in full except for one card I practice AZEO on. 136k yearly income. The bonus points will come in handy for a trip to LA in a few months.
Congratulations on your approval!!
Congratulations on your United approval!
You are already approved for a great big ole Congrats! I often hear that is the one single way to bypass 5/24, so good call on your part.
I seem to keep reading...at least more often then before about people bypassing 5/24. Some, like you through direct offers and others just going for it. I'm not suggesting it's not still a rule...but I'm starting to think they are being more flexible in how they enforce or follow.
Regardless.....good for you! Enjoy those bonus miles!! Congratulations on your approval!! 👏🏼🎉🍾
Congrats on your United Mileage approval 👍🏼
Congratulations on your approval and the 5-24 bypass. This is about the only card that I have read where some have snickered through the cracks and got an approval.
Grats on your United approval
Congrats on the United Approval!
