TLDR: Last night/this early morning I was approved for CapOne's SavorOne with $5000 credit line + $3600 CLI (s) total.
Update: I convinced myself to go ahead and pull the trigger on HP apps to keeps my inquiries in a bundle and be consistent in my behavior (I always app/seek CLI in June). It was a calculated gamble that paid dividends: PSECU Founders card approved at 29K. BofA also approved my CLI to $6000 (that's the amount I requested). I have one more app pending, one undecided pre-qualification, and I declined one offer after the HP.
Sharing data points and positive news.
I've been MIA while I do my second rebuild. In 2017 I ran into financial issues, yada x 3, and defaulted on Barclay, CapOne, and Chase. I settled the charge offs and maintained Amex and BankofAmerica at a lowered credit line.
I started rebuilding with Merrick for about 18 months. By then I qualified for CapOne Secured and Citi Secured. I started with $1000/2500 respectively. Citi unsecured at about the 1 year mark at the same CL ($2500). CapOne didn't unsecure, but I received that auto-CLI to $1300.
June 2020, I bit the bullet and apped for PSECU Secured ($1000) and Cap One Platinum Unsecured ($1000) -- both approved. So, since my year of gardening and scores were up, I decided to try for CLIs across my cards with soft pulls. Citibank raised me $1000 and Amex $2600. BOA said "we're reviewing". CapOne said reviewing, too. I was pretty stoked and decided to check my pre-qualified with CapOne. Came back with suggestion of Quicksilver (which i have already thanks to PCing Platinum) and SavorOne. No suggested CL, however. I was fearful they'd approve a low limit, but I figured I would just replace the CapOne Secured and free up my money, low limit or not. Surprised me with a $5000 limit -- same amount I CO'd in 2017,
So my new line up is:
Amex - $5200 (lower then my original my SCL, but double the limit I'd be managing since my hardship)
BofA - $6000 (increased CL by $1200; now is higher than the original $5000 starting CL)
Citi - $3500 (PCd to Diamond Peferred months ago)
Cap1 - $5000 (SavorOne)
Cap1 - $1300 (Correction: this the secured card)
Cap1 - $1000 (Quicksilver, PCd)
PSECU - $1000 (Secured, soon to be closed)
PSECU - $29,000
Well, back to the garden another year. My goal is to increase my CLs, not adding a ton of cards. But I will replace the CapOne starters and PSECU when the timing and credit is right.
My profile:
Derogs - 3 paid CO credit cards, 1 unpaid student loan CO
Current - a butt load of student loans (no missed, no lates); the above cards (no missed, no lates)
Debt - Credit Cards - $200 / Student Loans - Yikes!
Scores:
730 - EQ - Citi
714 - EX - Amex (Experian app updated to 710 after CapOne HP approval,; 700 PSECU on 6/5)
693 - TU - BofA as of 5/29;
Thanks for the kudos and encouragement!

Thank you. Yeah, I'm aware how "stingy" CapOne can seem to some me people, but I've appreciated the business model. I can't imagine ever needing credit limits above 10K on a single card (easy way to swipe myself into debt), so their moderate lending works for me. Of course, maybe I'll change my tune when I finish paying my student debt and have cash to spare and want credit to burn!
Congratulations on your approval and CLI's!!! However, a huge congratulations has to be given to your rebuild success. Thanks for the DP's as well.
