Ok, so I made a thread yesterday asking for advice on an app spree. To my surprise, I caught a lot of "flack", but I'm glad I did, because it helped me out (which is the goal at the end of the day! ]
Not to go into a long diatribe: but I spent $10,000+ over the last year and an unimaginable number of hours cleaning off baddies. So this has been an *investment* for me that I must recoup NOW. That said, 99% of the stuff I learned to fix my credit, I learned from these forums... So it was a tad surprising seeing the "sensei" tell me not to throw kicks after teaching me all year. A little weird! But the construction criticism did good, here's what happened:
1) Navy Fed - TU9 - "Approval" ... Won't mention starting limit here, will mention it later for some suspense.
2) Citi Prestigue - EQ - APPROVED - $8,200
3) Discovert IT - EX - APPROVED - $4,200 (didn't want to apply here, but they have been BEGGING ME on the experian app. Was expecting a $10k limit due to all the begging, but oh well).
4) BB&T - EQ (soft pull!!!) - APPROVED - $5,300
5) FNBO - EX - APPROVED - $7,800
6) BBVA - EX - DENIED !! (they said too many inquiries and short account history. I'm thinking I would've gotten approved for BBVA if I did them *before* FNBO. I did them back to back. So, small disappointment, but no biggie).

Still to go: PayPal Mastercard (been with then 20 years and they pull Transunion, which as you see above I can still pimp out some more.
Synovus - EQ - (I here they give high limits)
Cap 1 Venture - all 3 bureaus : saving them for last since I have a relationship and money in the bank
----
The Vets told me it couldn't be done... Told me to sit out a year (or 2).... Maybe my thread wasn't as clear as it should have been, but I've been fixing my credit for 3 YEARS (really HEAVY the past 12 months) to get credit lines. I'm not going to keep waiting forever.
Was I expecting $25k limits per card? No ... I wanted to aim high. I was *expecting* an average of $15k per card ... So I guess in a weird way: Me and the Vets were right, ha. We met in the middle. I'm still going to do some reconsiderations so, we'll see there.

The biggest disappointment of my life? Navy Fed, who was supposed to be my MICHAEL JORDAN, gave me a $500 limit. I was so offended and disgusted. I sent a VERY strong (yet polite) reconsideration letter. I've read people say they have 800 scores and $500k income get $1,000 limit... I'm not other people, I can't go out like that. Will take that to the CEO if I need to. They need to at least throw me $10 or $15k and we call it a deal

Moral of the story? When doing App Sprees, DON'T USE CHASE. That's basically what I learned from my last thread. I understand we all have different goals and objectives, and I stated from the beginning I didn't care about SUB, miles, points etc etc... So far me, Chase is useless. The offbrand bank up the street uses the same currency, the U.S. Dollar, so if you want to APP SPREE, stay away from chase. I'm so glad you guys told me.

Can some of these cards still get shut down? Sure. But I hope not. Pray for me. I just started going YOLO after seeing this pre-approval thread, and I thank the great American who made it. ALL the approvals you see above, I did the pre-qualifer for them... Except for Citi, who doesn't have the pre-qualifier available

I'm starting to rant so let me end with this: To say I "couldn't have done it" without this message board would be the biggest understatement ever. This is where I came to gain knowledge, and now trying to give a little back.
I had a 512 credit score in April 2020 ..... Now have 769 on Experian)... As of February this year, so took me 10 months.
----
P.S... I may make another thread on this, but I think I had the biggest Baddie Off jump of all time.... I was VERY worried when I saw EX at 769, EQ at 661, and TU at 687 .... I was thinking ... "Ok, I get the baddie off TU and EQ .... Transunion needs 82 points to match EX..... I think that's doable, but tough .... But Equifax??? Ahhhhh I'm gonna have a low EQ score compared to the others like everyone else .... At most I'll get 80 points and it'll end up at 740.... Disappointing, but oh well ...."
----
114 point jump ... World Record ??
Moral of the story:: GET THOSE BADDIES OFF BY ANY MEANS. IF THERE'S A WILL THERE'S A WAY.
I thank you all very much. Open to any suggestions for the remaining 3 to 4 lines I'll be applying for. Please excuse any typos.
