I only wish Sofi MC would have been as generous with the SL a week ago when I app'ed for them . I have a very sizeable real estate tax bill that needs to be paid and this card makes paying it a perfect fit since it reports as an installment loan. I have one more payment left on my Penfed loan and wanted an installement loan to remain on my reports so my score won''t tank too bad once it (Penfed) falls off. Haven't been notified of a HP yet but will update with that info when available. UPDATE 4-5-21 at the end of the thread.
Congratulations on your new Upgrade approval! 👍
Excellent SL, grats on the it
Congratulations on your Upgrade approval!
Congrats on the approval!
Congrats!
Can you tell us if there is an origination fee (LOF) when you first put a charge on your installment loan ?
Is there a reason why you chose this 1.5% instead of their 3% rewards PLOC ??

Per the website: "There are no fees to open the line, no annual fees, no fees to make a transaction, no late fees, and no prepayment penalties."

Thanks! I saw the thread about 3% version and all of the catergories it covers--but couldn't find the link to apply. Besides this card is not going to see a lot of usage anyway and 1.5% is better than no rewards at all (albeit not a lot better). And with the 3% card my approval credit line and APR may or may not have been as good--so I took the pre-qualify of $35k with the 9.97% APR which was more than satisfactory for my needs while it was staring me in the face.
