Venmo opened up today. That 3% back in top category got me on board. Applied- approved with $3500 limit. TU pulled.
I opened a checking account at Regions in early January. They tried to give me a card then, but offered $3000. I tried the preapproval thing again a few days ago and it showed $8000. Decided to take it. Approved. $100 SUB for $500 spend in 3 months. TU pulled.
I got my first BB&T card in December- $15k limit then. No prequal love from them since until last week when all three cards showed up again. Went with the Bright card this time and approved for $10,500. soft-pull only.
I closed my 2nd Discover card in December. It showed I was preapproved again so I tried a few days after closing it, but after that cycle date- no joy. I tried it again yesterday and the thing spun for ages before spitting out an approval at $3000. Ex pulled. Lower than I wanted, but more than I needed. Yay for another year of 10% in rotating categories.
775 to 812 FICO, 4 to 6 inquiries, depending on bureau and when pulled. <1% UTL. 19 year AoOA. was around 4 year AAoA in December, now around 2.8 year AAoA. This last round makes me around 11 new cards in the last two months if I'm counting right. Not recommended for most profiles, of course.
All aboard the Venmo train!!!
Grats to all your success
