I recently applied for the Virgin America Premium Visa Signature Card. I didn’t receive an immediate approval. Instead, I received an email stating that I would receive formal correspondence within 7-10 business days. I called the recon line, but they provided no information. They suggested waiting for the letter and then calling back.
Several days later I received a letter asking to call in and verify my information. They asked me questions like, what bank I use for my mortgage, zodiac sign related to my birthday and who I used to finance my student loans. A few minutes later, the rep came back on the line and said I was approved for 15k.
I hear this is a great looking card, so can’t wait to start using it.
