Von Maur approved

Applied online 3 days ago and got notice today they pulled EQ report. Called and they said approved for $500 but I forgot to ask if it is a "hard limit." 

I was denied February 2016 for past baddies. 

FICO 8 is 663 and Bankcard 8 is 673.

Congrats! I'd say $500 with Von Maur is a lot... Per what I've been told by a credit department rep and in my welcome packet they will not increase the limit for at least 1 year... As always YMMV though.... At 1 year I got a $100 increase an the hard limit removed...

I remember fighting to get my Von Maur card and I'm glad they took a chance on me when no one else would.... Its the only card I ever provided proof of income for.... First unsecured card as well.

They take great care of customers and always answer the phones quickly when calling the credit department...

I still remember the picture on there website of them presenting the card to the customer on a silver platter... For some reason it exudes class and a era that has long since passed....
