After becoming a member here at MFF, I decided to start my credit repair journey. When I started my journey my scores were in the 480's and I've never had a credit card limit of more than $500 in my life. (I'm 43). After opening a Discover secured card $300 12/18, it finally graduated 11/19 to $2000. And also being approved for a Cap1 QS1$300 01/20 and After paying off multiple collections and charge offs over the last few months, I decided to apply for a NFCU cash rewards card. I figured I'd be denied because my scores were all in the low 600's which is decent considering where I started, but not like some of you all. But I did it anyway.... after the most nervous 30 sec ever......... BOOM!!!! $15k approval!!! I almost fell out my office chair. I coudn't believe it.. I know that I still have work to do, but you guys don't realize how much of a boost this gives me to get even better with my finances.
