Re: Walmart CLI! And a question about that

I also recon'd my initial credit limit...went from 1,300 to 10,000.

Re: Walmart CLI! And a question about that

Thanks, Lithium! I appreciate you giving me an idea of what the pattern might be. Nice going with those increases, too.

My income isn't spectacular, but everything else is good. I guess I'll have to get used to asking for CLIs. I know the people around here are veterans at it. But in all my years of using credit, I'd never done it once before yesterday.

Re: Walmart CLI! And a question about that

YUP! even if they dont grant the auto cli you can always do it via online, or automated system if they dont approve your request they will usually just counter offer. BUt for now you should use your new CL and use it responsably so they can see how good you can mange credit. Dont worry wal mart will love you as long as you carry their card. Again congrats!

Well, shazam. That just gets more impressive than ever. And here I thought I was hot stuff because within the last few months I finally got a couple of lines over $10k.

I was going to say I'll never have anything approaching your total CLs because although I do most everything else right I'm pretty low income. But then I saw your statement about 5X. Your income is quite a bit higher than mine. But until I saw your post, I'd have assumed you'd need an income well over $100k to get CLs like yours.

I'll still probably never have giant CLs because I'm just not that big a user of credit or a devotee of pursuing CLIs. But it's nice to know it's possible.

Re: Walmart CLI! And a question about that

Bears and chanceit, I'm definitely looking forward to those good GE CLs.

I said above that I had never in my life called for a CL. I've never "hit the luv button," either. Guess now that I've got a couple of GE cards, I'm going to have to change my ways.
