Oh yeah, oh yeah!  I was supposed to be done for 2 years but I received a pre-approved offer from JCPenney today in the mail.  I saw that GE Capital issues JCPenney and since I don't shop at JCPenney, I took a chance at Wal-Mart.  I've been trying to get a Wal-Mart card for so long!!!  Finally!!!

It wasn't much, only $500.  I don't know my scores, but when I bought my house a couple months ago my EQ FICO was 660.

Congrats on Wally approval!   And don't discount the TL as "just $500."  There are folks around here with 5-digit limits at Wally that started even lower than that.  I'm starting lower than that with Wally, too...LOL.

BTW, if you are considering accepting the JCP CC, it's also accepted at CVS and Rite Aid and Sephora's website (but not in their separate stores).

Someone should have slapped the cuffs on me.  The preapproval letter was too tempting.  I went for it and JCP gave me $500.  Thanks for the info.  I didn't know the other stores accepted it.

Congratulations on both approvals! I started off with $700 last Sept and it's now at $5000 -they upgrading me to their Discover card in July.
