i've been denied almost a dozen times for a CLI through CS, with the reasons being my TU score with a slew of reasons. Top of the reasons has been my util and the number of accounts carriyng a balance.
I called 877-379-8173 just now & requested 6k CLI. They countered with 3500 as the most they can do at this time. On May 2-5, th my remaining TL's I PIF will report their zero balances. Then I'll try for another CLI on May 10th.
My journey to a 25k Walmart Synch limit continues (=
EDIT: I set up the CCT Experian 7 day trial for $1 (EX only), and my EX FICO 8 score is 664. I know they only SP TU, but they're usually within 1 point of each other. Just a data point. I believe I've finally cleared 650 on TU.
That's a nice increase.
Pretty much my story as well, I had a 700 limit and then last month they were so kind as to raise it to 900. My scores have increased between 30 and 40 points recently and I did a chat with them and also got 3500. I asked for 10k and they said that is their max for now. I was glad to get it actually.
Sweet increase!

Thanks. I'm super excited. This will lower my overall util and raise my score a tad bit.
Congrats

Quick question - do you shop there often?
I think I've used the card 4/5 time in the last year, and never for much more than $30-$50. I've gotten the small increases ... I think up to $950 now. My score should be moving up after a tax lien is withdrawn and I'm wondering if it's worth it to get higher limits on a card I don't use much (nor will I, not a big Walmart shopper).
