I've opened a few Amex business cards the past couple of years that don't appear on my reports, but my last two personal cards opened were FNBO China Airlines a few weeks shy of 2 years ago and Synchrony Rakuten Visa 20 months ago. (Also a mortgage refi in September, otherwise just these 3 accounts in the past 2 years showing on my reports.) I decided that it was time to come out of the quasi-garden.
Wells Fargo has been relentlessly sending me about 2 mailers a week for months on end. I applied with them quite a number of years back and was denied, and prior to that I had always been denied due to being in a state they didn't service every time I would try. Decided to roll the dice, and was quite surprised with the starting limit! No idea on APR yet. I did the prequal recently and it was giving me the mid-tier one. They pulled Experian (almost everyone seems to for me) and my current EX FICO 8 is 791.
I am guessing they like me? I think this is the largest Active Cash approval I've seen here.
Congratulations on your approval and awesome starting limit!
I hate you
Congrats 🎉 🎉🎉
Congratulations on your WF Active Cash Approval!
Congrats on the shiny new card!
Guess you can stick it near the TD card for the color lol
30 G's?!?! Wowzers! WF ♥️ you! I haven't seen an approval this big in quite a while! Mine was $25K last year.
Congrats on that HUGE approval @K-in-Boston!
Congrats on your awesome Active Cash approval, @K-in-Boston!
That is an exceptionally-high SL with Wells Fargo!
*Just curious, but you have a lot of other 2% or better options. Was there a particular appeal or plans for this one beyond the SUB or lender diversity?
Nice ! Congratulatiions on your approval !!!

It was the SUB, BT option now or later, and genuine curiosity since they have been marketing to me so heavily and I have never had an account with them.
Thank you everyone!
