What's up everybody. This is my first post here. Last night I applied for the Wells Fargo Propel American Express card. I had no prior banking relationship with WF in any form (ex. checking/savings, credit cards, etc...). The application went pending after applying because they needed to verify some information. DP's for anybody interested - 727 exp. 738 eq. They pulled both of these reports. I had 8 inquiries on exp. and an AAoA of about 2 years. This is my 9th CC. I have no late payments and a utilization right now about 11.4%.
This morning I called WF and they verified the information they needed; address, DOB, name, SSN.
After all of that information was verified, they said I was approved with a SL of $5,000.00
I wanted to post this for anybody interested in this card. You obviously do not need a prior relationship w/ WF to get approved. In addition, you may see a pending result after applying just as I did. WF just likes to verify your info before giving a decision, so a pending is not the end of the world and doesn't always mean a rejection!
Other cards I currently have include: Alaska Airlines Visa Sig, AMEX Platinum, CSP, Costco Cit, etc...
