Went on a CLI Spree!

My utilization was at 33% so i decided to Request some Credit Line Increases.

my Best buy VISA $3,300--> $8,300   HARD PULL     $5,000 increase

Citi Simplicity $15,000 --> $19,000 SOFT PULL          $4,000 increase

Citi thank you  Preferred $4750-->$6250 SOFT PULL  $1,500 increase

AMEX Blue cash Everyday $18,000--> $22,000 SOFT PULL     $4,000 increase

Capital one Quicksilver $6,500-->$7,250                       $750 increase

Barclaycard Ring $11,750  denied CLI due to high balance (SOFT PULL)

Chase FREEDOM $5,500  called and got immediately denied due to high utilization (HARD PULL)

The only reason  i have Capital One is because its my oldest account running at 11years and i would close Chase Freedom for being so stingy but those 5% cash back categories have me holding on.

Overall it was a nice bump in my credit limits totaling up to $80,050! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Went on a CLI Spree!

Congrats on the CLIs!

CLI request with Chase is almost always a bad idea as you’re most likely to get a better result in just opening a new acct with them and combining limits provided you’re not LOL/24.

New cc TLs : 0/6 ; 0/12 ; 0/24 | HPs EX 3 EQ 3 TU 4 | AAoA 7y10m | UTIL 1% - 4% | $300K+ Total Limits
