Today was day 61 on my AmEx Hilton Surpass. Requested a CLI from $3500 to $10k. Instantly approved. Felt ballsy so I applied for the Sapphire Preferred. Got the pending message. Called recon a couple hours later, service rep instantly approved me for a $5k limit AND talked them into expediting my card! What a time to be alive.
Congratulations. But also a perspective check: they are just credit cards. If you ever get denied for a CLI, wouldn't want you to get equally depressed! ("What a time to be alive" morphing into "What's the point of being alive" for example)
