I know Barclaycard for sure.
It also depends on where you live, as well as how the evil super computers in the lenders' basements are feeling at the time of application.
I live in Illinois. Chase pulled EQ for my Freedom app, Transunion for a CLI request, and EX for a Slate app.
There are lenders who are almost exclusively TU users (Barclays being a prime example), but even then they'll pull from the other reporting agencies for borderline cases.
Well, I was going to just throw in the towel and wait for stronger scores because as Themanwhocan pointed out my scores are kind of low. But, I applied for Barclaycard and was given $750 and Discover It gave me $1700, not a lot but, it's a good start. Thanks all for the advice
Congratulations!
And since you have some of your own good cards, maybe you want to be remove as an AU on that Kohl's card so you can control your own CR a bit more.
Scores | 2013-09-21 | Current |
Equifax | 630 (LP) | 755 (CK)/749 (Quizzle) |
Experian | 640 (FCR) | FICO 707 (Amex) |
TransUnion | 588 (CK) | FICO 754 (Barclaycard) |
Congrats on the approvals.
Discover seems to be forgiving on old derogs as I have a few lingering from 07 and they were generous with me.
