William Sonoma VISA via sct

Since it is now under Comenity, I added a few things to the shopping cart totaling the $250 range.  Got the pop-up, went for it, was approved for the WS VISA for $1000 BUT, of course it comes with that Comenity signature APR of 23.99%.  This was done on Sept 10th.

As of today, there has been no notification of a hard pull

Re: William Sonoma VISA via sct

The reason I waited was due to the "Comenity can giveth and Comenity can taketh away" as I found out with the Overton's MC.  Was approved via sct, had the card for about one month and card was declined at the register.  CSR told me card was closed due to too many inquiries I believe.  A month later, I started to receive letters from Comenity saying "Congratulations! You have been pre-approved for the Overton's MC", so right to the shredder those went.

You forgot the rest of the story. The entire story is..:

"Comenity Giveth, Comenity Taketh Away, then Comenity Giveth cards back "

NFCU $60.4k/PenFed $22.5k/Commerce $15K/53 $11K/Synovus $14K/BBT $11K/CapOne $12K/DCU $7.5K/BMO $7.5K/Chase $14.5k/Cabelas $10K/ and many many more!
Total CL $398600, plus car and RV loan.
Ooh. Ooh. Getting closer to that $500K mark!

Wow... that's insane. That's why I'm staying FAR away from Comenity. I would love to get a VS card and I'm always pre-approved via the SCT but I'm too chicken to go for it.
