Williams-Sonoma (Comenity) approval . . . sort of!

A new WS store opened in my small town - kind of a big deal! was shopping online and the shopping cart pre-approval pop-up appeared. It's the first time I've ever received a pre-approval pop-up. I went ahead and accepted and was given the store card with a whopping . . . wait for it . . . $250.00 credit line!

Congrats on your new card.  I have have savoring the moment when I can also get the pop-up for pre-approval.  With the amount of cards I have, I should just go hide.  However, took a chance and it as well.  I know this card will grow.  I wish you look on your succes with your additional credit.

NICKI I'm not too sure about that. I got a $250SL on the SCT, called Robolady the next day, asked for, and got $1500

That's a rarity!  I guess your scores were up.  I have never used the ROBOLADY thing. Glad they saw to give you a higher CLI.

You should try the online CLI when you get your card.

I was SCT approved for $500 last week and when I first logged in after getting my card I requested a CLI and got another $750. Tried again and I got redboxed.

Since the card has moved to Comenty (from previous lender Barclays), your chances of getting a CLI sooner than six months might be pretty good.  Try hitting the button after you receive the card and see what happens.  And then try again once every month or two and see what happens.  It's too soon to tell what Comenity's behavior with this card is going to be.  It sucks that they are giving out such toy limits on it, though, since you can't buy anything at WS with a $250 limit without maxing out your card.  

I got this card last year with Barclays (through a pop up) and they started me at $2000.  They were really good with the auto-luv every 4-6 months and even gave me a bump from $4K to $7500 about two weeks before the account was due to transfer to Comenity.  I really hope Comenity is as generous with CLIs as they have been with my other cards with them.

You might be onto something!  I just received my card in the mail and hit the "CLI button".  The card jumped to $1k and then I saw the read screen of death.  I wonder what would happen if I try to call ROBOLADY!  LOL... Thanks for the tidbit.
