No, I never paid of any of my debt that was included in my bankruptcy. Once my bankruptcy was discharged I started working on rebuilding my credit.  I also closed on a new home last Tuesday, I was able to get a conventional loan with Wells Fargo.  So far, July has been a GREAT month for me.

congrats !!!  I burned them in my 2011 chap 7 and was instantly declined. Did a recon, denied again. recieved an email 3 days thereafter and approved for 1000.  Ill take better care this time around ! Thanx AMEX

The same with me, I had the Amex Platinum, Delta Platinum $12K limit, Amex JetBlue $10k limit 300k MR miles but my financial world collapsed in 2007. Took me 10 years to get back in, like 1914MAB "I'll take better care this time around"

Reading all the comments, I should consider myself lucky.  I received my card last week and was so excited I treated myself to a nice dinner.  Of course I will be paying it off when I get my statement.

good good congrats just a note to all the internal Amex pre approved offer which i took 3 days ago for the Hhonors superpass was soft pull it means internal pre approved offers from amex is soft pull all the way to the end
