Zales CLI w/HP on Equifax

I requested an increase on my Zales account which I do once every few months and was granted a 2k increase from 8k to 10k however I incurred a hard pull on EQ ☹️.

I didn't notice any verbiage regarding the hard pull prior to me adding my income, but I was moving fast so I may have missed it. I have 9 inquires on EQ and would not have requested if I had known it would be a hard pull.

Zales did this to me once before when I used the card after a long period of non usage.

I only use the card every blue moon usually with a promotional period and pay it off before interest incurs

Happy to have the additional padding, unhappy about a hp, but it is what it is

Congrats , im curious cause i only seem to find places that pull EX or TU, what are some EQ cards that you have from the 9 INQ

The EQ pulls are:

Comenity Williams Sonoma - Card is now Capital One so expect a pull from all 3. 

HSBC Gold and HSBC Advance MC - HSBC recently sold its CC business so I'm not sure if you can even app for these anymore 

HSBC personal loan - Banking relationship sold to Citizens Bank

CitiBank Costco Visa - 2 pulls both denied one in 2020 and 2022

Capital One Saks Fifth - pulled all 3 bureaus then denied for too many inqs 

PenFed Power Cash rewards -only pulled EQ

And the recent Zales pull for the cli

I targeted EQ back in 2020 because that was my only report with 0 inquiries. Now I have 9 with 4 new accounts, a Paid personal loan and a cli. 2 will fall off end of this year and 5 next year. 

EX and TU will be clear next year but I have no other accounts (other than Costco) that I am interested in

Yep sadly since the Website Change over cluster mess earlier this month most folks are reportly now the CLI on Comenity/Bread cards is now a HP instead of the former SP.
